mapRuleTable

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1

Index: ifIndex · mapRuleID

The (conceptual) table containing rule information for a specific mapping rule. It can also be used for row creation.

from IF-MIB

ifIndex

InterfaceIndexA unique value, greater than zero, for each interface or interface sub-layer in the managed system. It is recommended that values are assigned contiguously starting from 1. The value for each interface sub-layer must remain constant at least from one re-initialization of the entity's network management system to the next re-initialization. (1..2147483647) · Integer32 · hint d

A unique value, greater than zero, for each interface. It is recommended that values are assigned contiguously starting from 1. The value for each interface sub-layer must remain constant at least from one re-initialization of the entity's network management system to the next re- initialization.

mapRuleID

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.1

Unsigned32 (1..4294967295)

A unique identifier used to distinguish mapping rules.

mapRuleIPv6Prefix

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.2

InetAddressIPv6Represents an IPv6 network address: Octets Contents Encoding 1-16 IPv6 address network-byte order The corresponding InetAddressType value is ipv6(2). This textual convention SHOULD NOT be used directly in object definitions, as it restricts addresses to a specific format. However, if it is used, it MAY be used either on its own or in conjunction with InetAddressType, as a pair. SIZE (16) · OCTET STRING · hint 2x:2x:2x:2x:2x:2x:2x:2x

The IPv6 prefix defined in the mapping rule that will be assigned to CEs.

mapRuleIPv6PrefixLen

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.3

InetAddressPrefixLengthDenotes the length of a generic Internet network address prefix. A value of n corresponds to an IP address mask that has n contiguous 1-bits from the most significant bit (MSB), with all other bits set to 0. An InetAddressPrefixLength value is always interpreted within the context of an InetAddressType value. Every usage of the InetAddressPrefixLength textual convention is required to specify the InetAddressType object that provides the context. It is suggested that the InetAddressType object be logically registered before the object(s) that use the InetAddressPrefixLength textual convention, if they appear in the same logical row. InetAddressPrefixLength values larger than the maximum length of an IP address for a specific InetAddressType are treated as the maximum significant value applicable for the InetAddressType. The maximum significant value is 32 for the InetAddressType 'ipv4(1)' and 'ipv4z(3)' and 128 for the InetAddressType 'ipv6(2)' and 'ipv6z(4)'. The maximum significant value for the InetAddressType 'dns(16)' is 0. The value zero is object-specific and must be defined as part of the description of any object that uses this syntax. Examples of the usage of zero might include situations where the Internet network address prefix is unknown or does not apply. The upper bound of the prefix length has been chosen to be consistent with the maximum size of an InetAddress. (0..2040) · Unsigned32 · hint d

The length of the IPv6 prefix defined in the mapping rule that will be assigned to CEs.

mapRuleIPv4Prefix

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.4

InetAddressIPv4Represents an IPv4 network address: Octets Contents Encoding 1-4 IPv4 address network-byte order The corresponding InetAddressType value is ipv4(1). This textual convention SHOULD NOT be used directly in object definitions, as it restricts addresses to a specific format. However, if it is used, it MAY be used either on its own or in conjunction with InetAddressType, as a pair. SIZE (4) · OCTET STRING · hint 1d.1d.1d.1d

The IPv4 prefix defined in the mapping rule that will be assigned to CEs.

mapRuleIPv4PrefixLen

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.5

mapRuleBRIPv6Address

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.6

InetAddressIPv6Represents an IPv6 network address: Octets Contents Encoding 1-16 IPv6 address network-byte order The corresponding InetAddressType value is ipv6(2). This textual convention SHOULD NOT be used directly in object definitions, as it restricts addresses to a specific format. However, if it is used, it MAY be used either on its own or in conjunction with InetAddressType, as a pair. SIZE (16) · OCTET STRING · hint 2x:2x:2x:2x:2x:2x:2x:2x

The IPv6 address of the BR that will be conveyed to CEs. If the BR IPv6 address is anycast, the relay must use this anycast IPv6 address as the source address in packets relayed to CEs.

mapRulePSID

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.7

RulePSIDIndicates that the Port Set ID (PSID) is represented as hexadecimal for clarity. SIZE (2) · OCTET STRING · hint 0x:

The PSID value algorithmically identifies a set of ports assigned to a CE.

mapRulePSIDLen

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.8

Unsigned32 (0..16)

The bit length value of the number of significant bits in the PSID field. When it is set to 0, the PSID field is to be ignored.

mapRuleOffset

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.9

Unsigned32 (0..15)

The number of the mapRuleOffset is 6 by default to exclude the system ports (0-1023). It is provided via the Rule Port Mapping Parameters in the Basic Mapping Rule.

mapRuleType

1.3.6.1.2.1.242.1.1.1.1.11

RuleType1 = bmr2 = fmr3 = bmrAndfmrEnumerates the type of the mapping rule. It defines three types of mapping rules here: bmr: Basic Mapping Rule (not Forwarding Mapping Rule) fmr: Forwarding Mapping Rule (not Basic Mapping Rule) bmrAndfmr: Basic and Forwarding Mapping Rule The Basic Mapping Rule may also be a Forwarding Mapping Rule for mesh mode.Reference: bmr, fmr: Section 5 of RFC 7597. bmrAndfmr: Section 5 of RFC 7597, Section 4.1 of RFC 7598. · Integer32
